Hotel Larat - Berlin

We stayed one night at Larat and it was perfect for our early morning flight from Tegel airport. The breakfast surpassed our expectations and the rooms were clean with a charming decor. Despite what other guests mentioned, we didn't experience any bothersome noise. The location is super convenient, with a bus station right across the street that takes you directly to the airport in less than 30 minutes.

Spacious, clean, and nicely furnished room. Perfect heating for a cold night. Convenient location near metro and bus stop to airport. Organized and friendly staff. Good breakfast with plenty of coffee.

Close to Berlin tegel airport, a good location for an overnight stay before an early morning flight (Taxi to airport less than 10 Euro). My single room was spacious and equipped with desk, TV and equally spacious bathroom.

Unfortunately - and contrary to the presentation in Booked.net - the hotel did not have internet. The only internet access was the T-mobile hot spot at 8 Euro an hour, which has very bad signal and reception.

Exceptionally good value for money, doubtless because location is less than desirable except for airport access. Room was large, comfortable, spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seen and open early, doubtless for those who (like me) need to get an early plane. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the rather bleak neighborhood and the 10-minute walk from the nearest U-Bahn station. Not a bad walk except with heavy bags. There is a bus that connects the U-Bahn station with the hotel; it would be worth making this information available. Connection to the center of Berlin is rapid, so the hotel does work for a longer stay than the night before a flight, especially for those on a budget.

As noted, the rather bleak neighborhood with few options for food. I didn't try the hotel restaurant, which is the only one around. If it's as good as the breakfast buffet, it's good.

The hotel is located near Tegel airport, making it a convenient choice for travelers. Two buses, the 128 and 21/22, are available to get to the hotel. shopping centers and supermarkets are just a short walk away. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, while the staff is friendly and helpful.

Some rooms may face a noisy street, making it difficult to sleep at night.

This hotel offers great value for money, with competitive prices that won't break the bank. The location, just a few bus stops away from Tegel airport, is extremely convenient for travelers.

All was acceptable or could be improved.

The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. When i did not get hot water in the morning, they immediately sent the house-keeping for assistance and helped me in getting the hot water.

The hotel was bit far from the station. minimum 10 minutes walk from the S and U bahn stations. But there are buses running from Ubahn station Kurt-Schumacher . bus 122 and M21 in which u should get down in the second stop. The room seemed to bill small.

The place is simple and clean.

It is not as close to the U-Bahn station as described in Booked.net. It is actually 2 bus stops away. I had a street facing room. It is noisy on a Friday night. It also has no air conditioning.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel near the airport. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially towards my daughter. They even gave her little treats and a toy when we arrived. The location is convenient too, with a subway station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were comfortable and well-furnished, with good quality beds and new furniture. Breakfast had decent options considering the price.

Everything was satisfactory, nothing to complain about.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and a great place to stay overnight before leaving the next day to go back to the USA. Because it is so close to the air port the hotel is on a busy street and air traffic contributes to lots of noise, which makes sleeping with the windows open very noisy. However, a set of good ear plugs takes care of the problem. The restaurant offeres an excellent breakfast and we enjoyed a delicious dinner as well. Public transportation is outside the door, which makes traveling to and from city and airport very convenient.

It was very noisy during the night, since the hotel is located on a busy street and close to the airport.
